I have noticed that in 2014, there has been a surge of actors getting into politics, this I find bewildering. Taking a leap from the world of acting into the terrain of politics which can be a bit endangering to say the least. The positives of being elected is great; to the masses what will this signify?

Is it possible to find your life's passion after you've attained a certain age 30+ and beyond? how did you go about it... The reason for this post is because at this moment in my life, I am taking stock of what is truthfully important to me as in time of life, relationship and career and passion itself. As a child, I loved creating things from creams and potions and playing with fashion, listening of every genre (worldwide). Lesson I have learnt not to fret about being lost whilst being myself, trying something new, and if it does not work out, try something else.... It has been proved for years that walking is good on the mood, spine and the whole body.. But the body was not designed to remain static; with the wave of scientists proving different views on walking... the simple fact is you use it or lose it. (muscles).

I was reminiscing on the month of September as it comes to an end, and everything it has brought to me. The blessings, the friends and other things too numerous to mention. I also pondered on the things that has tried to get my attention, such as the negatives (vibes and people).. and thought how veer away from all the hoopla.

Do-it was proud to attend two award ceremonies last week, the Team London Awards 2014 and the Third Sector Awards 2014 . Both nights were fantastic celebrations of volunteering. We wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate two volunteers who have won very special awards. Beau Fadahunsi won the Mayor’s Special Achievement Award for her fantastic and tireless work as a Team London Ambassador since 2010, and has been described as “a kind, and caring person who is generous with her knowledge and experience, and leaves people feeling valued”. And, well done to Sacha Langton-Gilks, who won the Volunteer Of The Year at the Third Sector Awards for her volunteering with The Brain Tumour Charity. Michael Shann, Ambassadors Programme Manager at Carers UK, and a judge at the awards, said: "Her never-give-up attitude is an inspiration for volunteers and staff." Congratulations to  Beau Fadahunsi.

Today, I am using this opportunity to thank God for his endless mercies, grace and favour in my life. For all those celebrating their birthday, wishing you all love, peace and blessings.

The rate at which our so called celebs are divorcing would leave one wondering if marriage in their world was more of a publicity stunt for gaining more fame and wealth or it was the real deal (irreconcilable differences) as it is coined. The state of marriage today is what I would call the "K-LEG" of female empowerment...  Mothers hurrying their daughters up to get married, and daughters likewise longing to get married, but bemused at the state of affairs today. How would you encourage a lady about marriage in today's world and what would make one walk away from a marriage for good. God HELP us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
