Transformation In A Twinkling - Angela Obasi's Story

Where do you turn to when you have tried all you can, your best does not seem to be enough? When you lean on a wing and a prayer, you never fail. That is the story of Angela Obasi and many more out there, who never gave up on prayer in dire times. 


Angela is a widow with seven children who lost her husband in 2010, she recalls that she had to mould her thacted hut with her bare hands since she could not afford to rent an accommodation. Her plight got the attention of the state governor's wife, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha.

The governor's wife built her a house through SNARP (She Needs A Roof Project) in six weeks and fully furnished it. 

Recounting her story, Angelina in tears said, 

 “I am giving God all the glory. It is only God who deserves all the praise and glory. Because, he is the one that touched Nneoma Nkechi’s heart to remember and brought me out of the thatched mud house. When it rains, I get drenched with my children. When heavy rain pours, my heart skips. God has used this woman to lift me up……”
