  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Racist rant sent to Sammie Sunter,
Moving into a new area should make one feel hopeful to start a new life. For some it is more like an hammer house of horror tale!!!
Sammie Sunter, 24, a young mum with two children got more than she bargained for when a new move meant having new neighbours from hell with racist messages as a welcome gift!

 Her front door was smeared with black paint and faeces with a note saying  ‘for black sisters and brothers’ - Willenhall is black so f***k off.

West Midlands Police is treating the attack as racially aggravated criminal damage.

 Do you have good neighbours, what is your area like, is it peaceful or hell to live in?

The armed force are known for not joking around when it comes to spotting impostors wearing their outfits, whereas in some quarters, this could also be worn as a fashion statement! A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
