  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

OMG!!!! Only In China - Naked Teacher Tries To Rape Student Publicly

 Broad daylight sexual assault by teacher
Honestly I used to think China was a country where the citizens were mild mannered, but some of the news that has been emanating from the country in recent years is beggars belief. Their antics would beat Hollywood and Nollywood combined! 

Stories that would leave one reeling in shock, Imagine a high school teacher strips naked and tries to rape a student in broad daylight in the full glare of students and teachers watching nearby; sexual tension or severe sickness misdiagnosed?!?!

Teacher runs mad in school

The incident occurred around noon time at Taiping High School in Lingshan County, the People's Daily Online reports. Photos show the naked man grabbing hold of the girl from behind and pushing her against a wall in broad daylight. Teachers immediately intervened and managed to free the student from the 30-year-old male teacher, surnamed Huo. The victim reportedly suffered no injuries.

The Publicity Department of Lingshan County released a statement confirming the incident. It said Huo has a suspected mental illness and works in the laboratories of the school. The statement said the teacher had received treatment in 2011 for psychotic episodes. However, after two years, he was declared fit to return to work...till this incident happened on the 28th March 2016.

Is mental illness amongst teachers really taken seriously? I am sure if this happened in the US or UK, the student will be suing the school and the teacher irrespective of his state of mind.
