In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Wife Leaves Ex Footballer After He Quits His £100,000 A Week Job

Moose found his calling as a wrestler and not a footballer
Women have been called all sorts of unprintable names, but would you as a woman really walk out on your husband if he quit his high paying job and switch careers to find his calling in a profession he really loves, and could still afford to provide for the family?

Ex footballer, Quinn Ojinnika of Syracuse Football Club was served with divorce papers from his ex-wife after he told her his plans of becoming a wrestler...

“One of the biggest reasons why we split up was because I was leaving all this money on the table for something that was just a maybe.”
“When I decided I wanted to become a wrestler, I knew I could take six months to a year and focus on becoming a wrestler, I didn’t need to have a backup job. I could wake up and go to wrestling school and be dedicated.”
Moose the footballer now wrestler
"Ring Of Honor told me to keep showing up even though I wasn’t promised a spot,”  With the money he saved up, he would travel wherever ROH was having a show just to prove his dedication and determination. “It got to the point where someone would be hurt or miss their flight and they’d ask me to be in a match.”
“Money doesn’t make you happy. I’m way happier doing this than playing football. Football wasn’t happiness to me. That was a job. This isn’t a job. This is me doing something I love.”
Women, defend yourselves, do you enjoy your husbands been slammed in the ring or nursing a bruised body irrespective of his pay packet? Be honest.
