  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Serena Williams On Maria Sharapova - "She Took Responsible For Failed Drug Test"
The news of Maria's failed drug test at Australia Open came to light yesterday and has shocked the sports world. She confessed that, “I was first given the substance, Meldonium, a heart medicine which improves blood flow and other health problems she has had since 2006".


The drug had only been banned for the World Anti-Doping Agency in January this year. Maria faces the possibility of been banned from lawn tennis for over four years.

Shame that the companies who supported her with endorsement deals  are now cutting ties with her!

 She was courageous to take responsibility and not denying the claims.

The armed force are known for not joking around when it comes to spotting impostors wearing their outfits, whereas in some quarters, this could also be worn as a fashion statement! A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
