Mayor Of Paris Releases Statement Over Kim West's Robbery Scandal

Did the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, have to do this or was she coerced in making a statement concerning Kim Kardashian's robbery saga? 

"It in no way affects the safety of Parisian public space the streets are protected, I have every confidence in the police to quickly identify and apprehend the perpetrators"

Paris has and will always be a tourist city for those who chose to travel to France, but should the comments from Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, a former mayoral opponent of Anne Hidalgo and member of Nicolas Sarkozy's Les Republicains party, caused a stir. France has been tainted by terrorist attacks of recent, and this questions their security protocol and how it affects visitors to the country, but should Kim Kardashian's profile really cause a debate?

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian has stated that she would not sack her bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, who was not present at the time of the robbery.
