  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Saudi Groom In Snapchat Divorce After 2 Hours Of Wedding
Social Media Palaver!!! 

It is one thing for a bride to be divorced from her husband because he did not get what he bargained for in the looks department - The makeup came off, the husband saw his newly wedded wife's natural looks and bailed out!...
On the other hand, This new bride might have taken her vows seriously, but ignored the prenuptial agreement forbidding her off on all things social media on her wedding day. Her husband snapped after discovering that she was sending photos of their wedding to her friends, thereby requesting a divorce two hours after the ceremony was solemnized! I wonder what the guests would think, or is it a norm to witness such occurrences in Saudi?
“There was a prenuptial agreement between my sister and her fiancé that she would not use social-media applications such as Snapchat, Instagram or Twitter to post or send her pictures. It was included in the marriage contract and became binding. Regretfully, my sister did not honour the pledge and used Snapchat to share pictures from the wedding ceremony with her female friends, resulting in the shocking decision by the groom to cancel their marriage and call for divorce.”
Did the bride just experience a great escape or should have the marriage counsellors in?
