  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Jealous??? Cheryl Tiegs Criticizes Sports Illustrated Magazine For Featuring Angela Graham On Its Front Cover

The trend to feature more curvy women on magazines now is becoming the hot topic of the decade, but there will always be one to voice their opinion on curvy models not worth been celebrated.
Former model, Cheryl Tiegs, 68 spoke to E! news on her displeasure of sports illustrated featuring models like Ashley Graham on Swimsuit Cover.

...But Tiegs, who has been featured on Sports Illustrated’s covers multiple times, doesn’t agree with the magazine’s choice to feature Graham. Tiegs opened up to E! News Wednesday at the 13th Annual Global Green USA Pre-Oscar Party and said she felt the magazine was promoting an unhealthy lifestyle by featuring her.
“I don’t like that we’re talking about full-figured women because it’s glamorizing them because your waist should be smaller than 35 [inches]. That’s what Dr. Oz said, and I’m sticking to it,” she explained. “No, I don’t think it’s healthy. Her face is beautiful. Beautiful. But I don’t think it’s healthy in the long run.”.
This has sparked a debate, has Cheryl Tiegs got a point based on the waist measurement or is she just expressing a subtle form of jealousy that this did not happen in her time?
