  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Former Playboy Model Opens Up On Tango Dance With President Obama

The dancer, Mora Godoy who tangoed with president Obama on his trip to Argentina has finally spoken on "that dance", and how she was warned not to dance with the president...

 ‘It wasn’t in the protocol. To tell you the truth, it was forbidden for me to ask him to dance, This is why everyone was surprised, especially President Mauricio Macri, who then supported my invitation.’

The former playboy model had previously appeared on the July 2006 cover of Playboy, and was fully nude in one of its spreads. Ms Godoy had prepared an Argentine tango for the guests to enjoy at the dinner but was told she was not to invite the president on to the dance floor. But during her performance, the dancer said she decided to throw caution to the wind and ask Obama if he would join in with her.


She persisted at the president's refusal, and  he then accepted the invitation, that went viral on social media. Ms Godoy concluded that President Obama was totally surprised. He said “Ok, but I don’t know how to dance. I’ll follow you”. He’s an exceptional dancer.’
