  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

What A Joke!!! 'Louis Vuitton Fried Chicken' Owner Gets Fined For Trademark Violation

To those who love a bite from the finger licking chicken and chips, must have heard of different names inscribed on shops from KFC, Chicken Town, Nandos etc. Enter the Seoul eatery of Mr Kim called "Louis Vuiton Dak", “tongdak,” means “whole chicken.” The logo bears a striking resemblance to the French fashion brand’s signature “LV” symbol. The chicken joint’s serviettes and take-out boxes feature this pattern.
Louis Vuitton must have been seeing red when it first came to their attention! What has a fashion house known worldwide for its classic taste of designer apparel got in common with an eatry in Seoul? 

 The chippie shop owner changed his restaurant’s name to chaLouisvui tondak, claiming the new name was completely different. However, the Seoul district court disagreed and the restauranteur was fined $16,000 for not complying with the first order. 
“Although he changed the name with different spacing, the two names sounded almost the same,” the Korea Times quoted the judge as saying.
