  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Daredevil's Dirty Dancing

Mr Lacrosse looks to be having a wild time of his life as re recreates the famous lift from the musical Dirty Dancing. This picture is mimicking Patrick Swayze as he lifts his baby above his head in a Louisiana swamp.

He has been swimming with alligators since the age of nine. The fearless father-of-three has even been filmed feeding his favourite swamp-dwellers marshmallows from between HIS TEETH. This stunt was quickly stopped by Airboat Adventures – the company that employs Mr Lacrosse -which is located in Jefferson Parish, where the activity is prohibited.

The armed force are known for not joking around when it comes to spotting impostors wearing their outfits, whereas in some quarters, this could also be worn as a fashion statement! A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
