  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Governor Oshimole Set To Wed This Friday, To Lara Fortes

The governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole is reportedly getting married again. This time to a beautiful model named Lara Fortes on Friday May 15 2015. This comes after losing his first wife, Clara, five years ago to cancer in December 2010.


 According to several sources, the wedding invitations have been sent out and the solemnization will hold at the Etsako West Local Government Council Marriage Registry, Auchi, at 10 a.m.

The reception, according to the notice that was personally signed by the governor, will take place at the People’s Hall, Iyamho, Oshiomhole’s country home.
“While looking forward to the honour of your distinguished presence, I sincerely crave your pardon for the rather short notice. Please accept the renewed assurances of my highest esteem,” Oshiomhole wrote.
