  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Panic Saturday For Frenzy Shoppers Lured Into January Sales
January 2016 sales starts early - today has been dubbed panic saturday because of the frenzy the sales will cause, Was this not what happened last year where people rushed out to panic buy only to realise that the prices of goods on sales in the shops were inflated upon their return to the stores on boxing day!!! 

 According to Jason Gordon, consumer business partner at Deloitte, said: "Compared to 2014, there is already a noticeable increase in both the volume and value of discounts in the run-up to Christmas this year.
"Whilst this is good news for consumers looking to grab a bargain, it is a clear sign that retailers are being faced with what is now an annual uphill battle."
Experts said this year's UK Black Friday failed to boost sales and many retailers did not make the discounts shoppers had been hoping for.

 Either have a merry clickmas or go after the Xmas season.

A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
