  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

The Last Kiss That Brought A Dying Baby Back To Life
Francesca and Lee Moore-Williams will be celebrating a proper Christmas this year after an 18 months ordeal with their daughter's health scare. They had been told to switch off Bella's ventilator machine by the doctors, the couple even signed a 'Do Not Resuscitate' form meaning no special measures would be taken to keep her alive.

But just 30 minutes after their heartbreaking goodbye the 18-month-old tot, who doctors had given up for dead, began kicking and screaming. It is not over till God says it's over.



 Lee Moore-Williams said of the experience, 
“I could feel her hand dropping and it went down but then she started gripping my finger. She started moving on her own and then her machine started going off. The doctors then changed everything to try and keep her alive.”
“The whole family came in one by one to say their goodbyes. I just kept sitting there thinking ‘why us’. It was heart wrenching. I will never, ever forget that moment where I had to say goodbye to my daughter.” - Bella's mum.
Love is the best healer
