  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

President Obama's Doppelganger? Xiao Jiguo Thinks He's Chinese Barack Obama

Does Xiao Jiguo look a tad bit like US President Barack Obama? that's what Xiao Jiguo seem to think. It has served him a purpose, to launch his film career. Xiao has made appearances as an Obama impersonator, giving speeches, even though his English is minimal.


"My English is bad. So when I go on stage to speak, I speak in a mix of real English and fake English. I make it up as I go. Nobody understands it. Let me show you. (English) 'Hello everybody. Ladies and gentlemen'," Xiao said, before continuing his speech in gibberish.- Xiao says
Xiao says he shares a blood type with Obama - which some people believe shape personality - while his birthday is only one day apart from Obama's. He has played parts in online mini-series and experimental short films. He has also been in an ad for a cosmetic surgery clinic - but he insists his looks are natural.
