  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

The Tales Of A Nigerian Princess

This is the narration of a Yoruba Princess named Adeshola Aina Orelaja lamenting over the demise of her father. She spoke mostly in Yoruba on how her father, HRH Oba M. A. Orelaja - Sapenuwa of Ogbere, Ogun State, Nigeria, had survived several accidents which finally led to his demise, and how the family were treated after his death. 

 She also praised her dad for his work ethic. To Yoruba speakers, this would be an advantage - The theme of her speech, is to watch your words and do not succumb to anger especially if you are in despair. Watch clip after cut...

    My little princess your dad is equally my elder in ogbere he has done his part so let's move on can I sk you a question as a princess of that kingdom... What is the source of Sapenuwa I mean how come sapenuwa is the title of the throne of Ogbere kingdom... two you claim your dad had several accidents before he was finally caught up why as a king
