  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Listen, Poetic Oprah Pays Tribute To Civil Rights

Watch and Listen as Oprah pays homage to those who stood for change in the civil rights movement. A lesson can be learned from this. If only we put aside our differences and learn to reach out to one another in love. Change is attainable.
Nigeria can benefit so much at such at a  time like this when a country is divided amongst itself, war has wiped out a fraction of its people subtly and the world is crying out loud for change. If only the presidential candidates can jointly use their expertise to curb insurgency, the international community will choose to help. 

 Remember Chief Obafemi Awolowo of the defunct Unity Party of Nigeria, twice he lost the elections for presidency. But one thing he did not compromise on was his promise for a free education and low cost housing for the masses,which he fulfilled - even thought he LOST the elections. Learn from that!!!!!!!!!!!

The armed force are known for not joking around when it comes to spotting impostors wearing their outfits, whereas in some quarters, this could also be worn as a fashion statement! A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
