  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Chinese Billionaire Arrested for bank robbery
A Chinese billionaire is facing jail for a bank robbery offence he committed 16 years old with four other suspects. The robbery created a sensation in China and prompted top leaders, including then prime minister Zhu Rongji, to issue special orders to solve the case.
But the investigation went cold due to a lack of evidence until recently, when Zhengzhou police reviewed the files. With the help of new technology, new evidence emerged that implicated the 53-year-old billionaire from Zhumadian, identified only by his surname, Shi.

Shi, who went on to became a construction contractor, was said to have deeply resented wealthy bosses who lashed out their money while he and his workers struggled on their wages. He invested his share of the stolen money in property and became a multi-millionaire real estate developer.
