  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Who Is Who? Georgia Twins In Drivers Licence Limbo

Drivers Licence Dilemma
I know they are twins but can BV's tell them apart? Staffers at Georgia's Department of Motor Vehicles are in a fix, because they can not tell Alicia and Alicen Kennedy apart. The local twins have been denied a drivers licence because of the mix up. The computer used in taking their picture is definitely not twins-friendly!  Alicia lamented that...
“We gave the employee our paperwork but we didn’t even get a chance to take the test because she kept saying some thing was wrong with the computer”!


I hope the glitch is resolved as soonest as possible, imagine they were sextuplets?

The armed force are known for not joking around when it comes to spotting impostors wearing their outfits, whereas in some quarters, this could also be worn as a fashion statement! A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
