Oscar Pistorius Sentenced Six years For Reeva Steenkamp's Murder

There is an outrage over the jail sentence of Oscar Pistorius, He was finally sent to jail for six years, was it consecutive or concurrent? Whatever the sentence he might serve in jail, whilst people call for a longer sentence, it will never bring back Reeva Steenkamp. The case had dragged long enough to make ridicule of the judicial system in South Africa.

Judge Thokozile Masipa, the original trial judge who re-sentenced the athlete on Wednesday, said the change in conviction had to bring with it a markedly different sentence.

But she added that she believed there were “substantial and compelling” reasons why the athlete should not be handed the 15-year stipulated sentence for murder, including his obvious remorse and the fact he believed Steenkamp was an intruder.

This will serve as a lesson to all ladies, a relationship that is not enriching you will sniff the life out out you in some way. Condolences to the Steenkamp family.
