  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Young Chefs Talk On Their Culinary Skills On White House Kids State Dinner 2016

I watched the kids talk about their recipes and dishing out advice on tips for good cooking at this year's Kids State Dinner at the White House. Wonderful ain't it, I even had to do a rewind on the clip when one of the kids said he started cooking from the age of one year old!?! When did you really start cooking?, and I am not talking of mock fires and child's play recipes with tin-pots! Shouldn't their be a master chef programme for all those kids who deserve more than a round of applaud. Watch the footage after the break.

A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
