  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

This is the season of buff body exposure, men and women vying for the Internet in a bid to garner attention. Over the years we have heard and seen of women mostly in the 70's looking great and giving the young models a run for their money. 

This time around,  Irvin Randle, 54 from Houston is enjoying the limelight, he hasd gone viral because of his good physique and style sense, which he attributes to sensible living. The elementary school teacher hit back at haters when the questioned his sexuality. Good on you Irvin, loving the haircut.

The armed force are known for not joking around when it comes to spotting impostors wearing their outfits, whereas in some quarters, this could also be worn as a fashion statement! A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
