  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

President Obama's Half Brother Vows To Vote For Trump In Coming Presidential Elections
President Obama's half brother, Malik Obama, 58, has vowed to vote for Donald Trump in the coming November 2016 presidential election. He said he was disappointed at some of his brother's presidential policies, and would love to vote Trump because he is in on the "Make America great again" slogan; which translates to "fresh ideas" and would love to meet with Mr Donald Trump.

  • He is very annoyed that his brother the president is in support of same-sex marriage - made legal across every state
  • Malik Obama blamed both Clinton and his half-brother for the 2011 death of Libyan dictator Colonel Muammar Gaddafi - who he had described as one of his closest friends
  • He was also outraged that Hilary Clinton's private use of e-mail service which caused a embarrassment for her earlier this year
  • President Obama not help his half brother when he went into politics in Kenya as a governor for the southwestern county of Siaya also added to the list of fractured relationship woes
“My brother didn’t help me at all,” said Obama. “He wanted me to shut it down when I set it up. He hasn’t supported me at all.”
Malik Obama spoke to New York Post, he would travel to Maryland to cast his vote. He is registered to vote in the state where he once worked as an accountant for many years.
