  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Pictures don't lie, so does a child's intuition. This photo above is that of Amariyanna Copenin aka "Little Miss Flint", in a meeting with president Obama and presidential candidate, Donald Trump. The difference of expressions is very clear. Does Donald Trump really scare children that much?

Mari as she is called, wrote a letter to President Obama concerning the water crisis in Flint, if it is safe to drink. The president visited the community to assure the residents that the water in their area was safe, if filtered.

When she wrote the same letter to Donald Trump, he visited the area, but she never had the chance to ask the question of what he would do to ensure that the children in the community of Flint will be safe. Instead, she had a picture taken, in which she looks visibly terrified.

Adults, learn to trust the instinct a child. It will save you years of unrest.
