Dangote Gives Innovative Ways To Beat Nigeria's Recession

Wole Famurewa of CNBC spoke to Aliko Dangote on the economic recession and practical ways of eradicating it. The richest man in Africa,  Aliko Dangote, stated that one of the ways of getting out of the recession is not to borrow money from IMF or world bank, but to sell our assets to remain afloat. His suggestions in snippets: 

• Federal government should sell assets to keep the country afloat 
• Intra-trade among African countries
• Diversifying the resources in the economy
• Improving oil refinery capacity in Nigeria and stop depending on other countries to refine Nigeria's oil
• Introduce African Finance Cooperation
• Curb imports and create exports 
• Create local employment
• Government should collect taxes and not build factories

By fourth quarter we should be out of the recession, Nigeria has all the answers, the leaders should believe in their people and have long term strategies. This is what the government needs in terms of advice and guidance till the economy improves.
