  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Remember back in 2013, when Teyana and Rihanna had a public feud on social media, that got so bad it spewed into each other calling one another shady names. 

“Petty is Petty and shade is shade.  B***h knew what the f**k she was doing.” Adding, “Ya net worth & ya body count go neck to neck. #IndustryPu**y.” - Teyana
“I hate broke b**ches.” Later tweeting and deleting “I REFUSE to help your career.” And, “You will NOT get an @ from me! Not til you pay me! #nomorefreepromo #iRefuse.” - Rihanna
Teyana didn’t take lightly to the comment. “F**k hashtags and retweets ni**a, 140 characters in these streets ni**a. -HOV”
Even Adidas had to wade into the controversial fight, it  had to drop Teyana Taylor from their brand and Rihanna was labelled a cyberbully! Fast forward, 2016, the two seem to have made up secretly over Puma boots. Good for them.
