In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary. Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

2016 has surprised everyone with the spate of divorce in high places, it has not spared the best of Hollywood either, now divorce is on the doorstep of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who would have expected that - Shocked? But what is real nowadays, when every media photo is seen just as been pretentious! Wendy Williams had her say on the most celebrated couple's marriage and divorce, and she is not mincing her words. I hate to gloat but I’ve never cared for the way they met each other to begin with. You know what? I’ll tell you what. The nail in the coffin… do you remember in Vanity Fair when Brad and Angelina were promoting Mr & Mrs Smith?
And they took a family-type photo spread and they were in a backyard and they had actor kids in a plastic pool like a family? This was when he was married to Jen! And they were promoting this movie and swooshed it all in her face so whatever! We don’t know if any of these rumours are true but what I do know is that I bet you Jen’s best friend Chelsea Handler is probably going to be having a big party tonight, the food is going to be great and everyone is going to be there.”
This looks more like a couple who have grown apart, whilst keeping up appearances in the public eye. The Pitt-Jolie clan really know the main reason of their split. Ain't this funny enough, in African homes when parents grow apart, they move into separate rooms, but in the western world, they file for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, leaving the children the opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds!

A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
