  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Istanbul Airport Killings: ISIS Behind The Attack
The holiday season is finally here, children breaking up from schools and parents now getting ready for their annual holiday trips abroad. Withe the surge of killings in this year alone, fear will not be a deterrent; but caution should be taken to avoid such mishap. The killings that has shaken the core of Turkey as a nation, the Istanbul airport massacre that has claimed more than 40 lives and over 100 people injured, both young and old. How sad.

ISIS have not fully confirmed if they are responsible for this massacre. Hot spots for holiday destinations should be on high alert, even Britain is not left out, we should not let the fallout of Brexit and the appointment of new leaders for both conservative and labour parties distract us from the notorious plans of terrorists.

Condolences to president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the people of Turkey
