  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Best Present Ever, A Baby Brother For Ethan

Some like them, some detest them, but for Ethan, he had always wanted a younger brother or sister since he was aged two. His parents gave him a Christmas card and there was a picture of the ultrasound scan of his new sibling. Video shows how Ethan gets excited when he realises what the card meant. Inside the card was an ultrasound image of his new sibling, along with a message saying to the unborn baby, " I can not wait to meet you".

And when told that his dream was finally going to come true, they decided to capture the moment for posterity. The video, which was posted on YouTube, shows Ethan eager to open early the Christmas card - but was baffled as to why it was being filmed.

The card says "To a wonderful brother" on the front, and has a photograph of ultrasound in the interior, but Ethan did not initially seem to know exactly what was happening. Inside, the child's parents wrote: "My brother Ethan, have a fantastic Christmas - can not wait to meet you."

At this point the penny finally drops, as Ethan gasps and then puts his head in his hands, overwhelmed with joy.

He seems happy before bursting into a fit of laughter, saying, "I can not believe this"
