  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Royal Mail Suspends Post After Vicious Dog Attack

Postman Jason Lee viciously attacked by dog,
Postman Jason Lee was viciously attacked by a  bull mastiff dog on his delivery round causing injuries to his right arm and buttock that required stitches.

 According to the Metro, The attack happened on July 9 last year, but the dog has been reported wandering around Copley Avenue in Meltham, West Yorkshire, sparking a suspension in deliveries by Royal Mail.

Residents now have travel to their local Post Office, almost a mile away, until Royal Mail is assured that the dog is no longer a threat.

The armed force are known for not joking around when it comes to spotting impostors wearing their outfits, whereas in some quarters, this could also be worn as a fashion statement! A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
