  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Idris Elba to design clothing line for superdry
SuperGroup will work with Luther actor, Idris Elba in designing a new clothing range that will appeal to customers around the world. The Group confirmed that Idris Elba will help crack America with its trendy Superdry designs aimed at the 15 - 25 year old market.

The  chief executive for SuperGroup, Euan Sunderland said...


"Today we are setting out our strategy to deliver sustainable growth at SuperGroup, as we continue progressing towards our goal of creating a global lifestyle brand.
"Superdry represents British innovation, quality premium products at affordable prices sold to customers around the world.
"Superdry is an iconic brand with a strong heritage and we will continue to broaden and strengthen its appeal to customers across countries and age groups."
On its partnership with Idris Elba, best known for his role in The Wire and recently linked with the main villain role in Star Trek 3, SuperGroup said he would "collaborate with Superdry to design and produce a premium line of clothing which will be sold globally in stores and online, as well as through wholesale partnerships from Autumn/Winter 2015".
"Idris, who will be designing the range with James Holder (its main designer), will be the face of the line.
"This exciting collaboration is evidence of SuperGroup's commitment to British innovation, and the development of a premium range."
