  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

The Lagos To Abuja Trek, All For Buhari

The Traveller walked from lagos to Abuja, all for President Elect Gen. Buhari
April 20th, 2015 is one day Mr. Hashimu Suleiman, 33, will not forget in a hurry. The man dubbed "The Traveller" kept his promise - he promised to trek from Lagos to Abuja if Retired General Buhari won the presidential elections on March 28, 2015. General Muhammadu Buhari won the elections quite alright to the disappointment of some, but Mr.  Suleiman took his vow seriously and embarked on his journey - all by foot. Some fans on twitter doubt how he could have trekked such a long journey - he would have mapped his route and planned before committing to such feat. Some tweets and video can be seen after cut


Abuja went agog with celebration on the arrival of Mr. Suleiman, what does the president elect think of Mr Suleiman's feat - determination, courageous, strength, and loyalty to the end. He got his name out there and did more than the PDP defectors would have done. Change is on its way. Congratulations on your feat, Mr. Suleiman.
