  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Brandy Promotes New Show On BET, "Zoe Moon"

Brandy Norwood was out to promote her new show on BET, titled "Zoe Moon," where she plays a newly divorced single mom who makes a life-changing decision to start a new career as a cosmetics mogul. The problem is, her ex-husband and her 10-year-old son aren’t ready for Zoe’s new endeavor (or her new dating life) and will cause a few bumps in the road.
Solange Knowles was on hand to act as the DJ for the event and she wore what I could describe as creatively quirky.
Kelly Rowland chasing destiny series on BET
Meanwhile, Kelly Rowland will have a series on BET titled "Chasing Destiny," being a former member of the  Grammy winning girl group Destiny’s Child, Kelly knows a thing or two about what it takes to make it in the music biz. So, the talented singer and BET have teamed up for the brand new talent competition show.
