In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

OUCH! When Footie Goes Wrong, And Striker Get Fired For Romp

Jay Hart sacked in the heat of the romp
How do you handle a defeat in the heat of the storm?, ask Jay Hart, he had a romp with a mystery blonde, the act was filmed, got into the wrong hands, well, it got round to the manager's hand that had him sacked.

Striker Jay Hart, 24,  of Clitheroe FC based in Lancashire, a married father of two, was filmed during the incident while still in his club T-shirt with his tracksuit bottoms around his legs. The worst bit was that, his team had just suffered a 4-1 defeat at Mossley's Seel Park stadium in the final game of the season which was billed as a 'ladies day' to attract more female supporters.

His girlfriend Bryony Hibbert, took to the football club's  Facebook page to slam those who shared the film. she said:
'Have a bit of decency for the people it's affected. Thank God my kids are too young to read. It's disgusting. I bet their families are far from perfect.'
Clitheroe FC chairwoman, Anne Barker, said the player had 'brought the club into disrepute'.
"I can't have somebody wearing the Clitheroe FC tracksuit bringing us down.
"It has brought the club into disrepute and it's not proper for him to scupper our reputation. I expect our players to act professionally.
"It was brought to my attention on Saturday night and dealt with through the management. I did offer to speak to him myself but Simon (Garner, the manager) said he would take care of it."
