  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Ex Pope Benedict Marks 88th Birthday
Pope Benedict XVI retired due to old age, he took time out to celebrate his 88th birthday on Thursday, 16th April, 2015 amid friends with a nice glass of beer.


He shocked the world when he announced his early retirement from his duties as a pope, a feat no pope had ever done! He was honest enough to report that due to his age, 
"strength of mind and body are necessary, strength which in the last few months has deteriorated in me to the extent that I have had to recognize my incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted to me,"
On the eve of the birthday celebrations, Benedict’s secretary, Monsignor Georg Gänswein, told Mediaset television: 
“The emeritus pope thinks about death and is preparing for his death. It’s a Christian art, because preparing for one’s death means preparing to meet God.”
Those days, Benedict spends his time reading and keeping up with his correspondence, receiving guests and occasionally playing the piano.
