  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Abandoned And Raped Girl Of 13 Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Ekemini, the 13 year old who was abducted, raped and fell pregnant has birthed a baby boy according to Anja Ringgren Loven. She shared the news on her FB page yesterday...

"This morning at 10 Ekemini gave birth ( caesarean operation ) to a healty young little boy 👶🏿💚
Ekemini is the girl, only 13 years old who David and our team rescued a few weeks ago and brought to safety to our orphanage ❤️
"So please say Hello to the new member of our big family at DINNødhjælp/ACAEDF Childrens Home 👶🏿 He is just so sweet and adorable and I cannot wait to hold him in my arms ❤️
The operation went fine but Ekemini is a little sick and very tired. But she is with David and our team at the hospital now and they will all take good care of her and our little sweetheart 👶🏿💚🇳🇬."
