  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Fashion Style: Is It In The Genes And Can It Be Brought?

Picture says a thousand words, here is a photo of the Duchess of Cambridge, walking tall and elegant whilst princesses Eugenie and Beatrice follow behind. The dailies are attacking the princesses, daughters of  Prince Andrew for their sense of style, and deems them frumpy for never getting it right at the fashion stakes! 

Is it down to their stylist to know dress them up accordingly? or they just lack a sense of style as compared to the duchess who poses with grace, class and confidence in all her outfits.

Some people have a great of sense of style and can coordinate their outfits with minimal effort and less money, whilst it is an hurdle for some irrespective of their cash-flow.  Can fashion be taught? As most women credit their mothers for their "passed down knowledge on style" or being stylish is actually in the blood.

A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
