Lupita Nyong'o And Sophie Okonedo Are 2016 Tony Awards Nominees, While "Hamilton" Gets 16 Nominations

This year's 70th Tony Awards was announced today by actors Andrew Rannells and Nikki M. James. The nominations will next be considered by 846 Tony voters — a mix of producers, performers, and other theater industry professionals — who must submit ballots by June 10. The awards ceremony, presented by the Broadway League and the American Theater Wing, on the 12th, hosted by James Corden and broadcast on CBS. The highest number of nominations went to the musical, "Hamilton". See the nominees list after the break.
