  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Madonna To Pay Tribute To Prince At 2016 Billboard Music Awards
This year's Billboard Awards is set to go down a storm, with artists like Madonna paying tribute to late Prince who passed away last month. According to Billboard, The Queen of Pop will pay homage to another member of music royalty, Prince, at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.

Organizers today announced Madonna’s participation in what promises to be one of the highlights of this year’s BBMAs. The legendary pop singer will pay tribute to her good friend and fellow artist, who unexpectedly passed away April 21 at the age of 57. Details on her tribute to the late music great remain a closely-guarded secret.

Is Madonna one of the legends that could be sought after to pay homage to Prince? This will be a mother of all shows. 

This year’s ceremony will air live at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Sunday, May 22 from TMobile Arena in Las Vegas. It’ll be hosted by  Ludacris and Ciara and produced by dick clark productions.
