  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Picture used for this naration is the courtesy of City AM. The sun is greatly adored here ladies scantily dressed and guys flexing their rippling muscles. How have been enjoying the weather in your city? Basking in it is all I can say from my area and loving every minute of it till the evening! How hot is the heatwave in your area, enough to fry an egg or to imitate the above picture? It is good to note that there were only but a  causalities amongst the elderly who could not withstand the heatwave.

Spoke to a friend who just returned from Africa and she said it was raining cats and dogs minus the men! Let's us know how you are coping with the heatwave in your city

The armed force are known for not joking around when it comes to spotting impostors wearing their outfits, whereas in some quarters, this could also be worn as a fashion statement! A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
