  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

High viz jackets to replace mini skirts
Prostitutes in Italy will be forced to ditch miniskirts and revealing tops for reflective jackets and trousers worn by road workers in a bid to improve highway safety.

 The sex workers gathering on a main road into Milan in northern Italy face a 500 euro (£350) fine if they refuse to wear the unflattering high-visibility attire. 

 deputy mayor of the town of Spino d’Adda,  Mr Luciano Sinigaglia said; ‘The sex workers should be treated as employees who work on road construction and forced to wear clothes that make them visible.
‘We are almost ready with the definitive draft of the document. I hope to have the new law up and running by the start of September’ 
‘Let us hope men don’t get confused and try to pick up a road worker by mistake.’
Lets hope the police will not be having a field day arresting them, rather than punters locating them!
