  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Paris Attacks: ISIS Claims Responsibility For Carnage

Parisians donate blood after attack

British Prime Minister, David Cameron has warned Britain must be prepared for casualties in the Paris attacks at which ISIS has claimed responsibility - 127 are feared dead and many more were left injured.

French President Francois Hollande declared a state of emergency, imposed a curfew, and closed the country’s borders as fear spread across a city still healing from the Charlie Hebdo attacks in January. Authorities said the attackers inside the concert hall had tossed explosives at the hostages. At least two attackers were killed in the hall when security officials stormed the building.





This is not the time to cut back on policing in London or UK  to save costs, with the ISIS posing a threat. Now, the police should be posted to strategic places to keep the people safe. Safety comes first till ISIS is eliminated.
