  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Students In England Pay More In University Fees Than US, Switzerland & Italy
Analysts have deduced that university students in UK pay more tuition fees that their counterparts in countries like US, Italy and Switzerland. Is this the reason why places in UK, such as London is referred to as a city of excellence. 

At £9,000, Chancellor George Osborne claims that fees could rise even further, universities in line with inflation if they can prove they offer good-quality teaching - Is it not the same old course the lecturers teach?

UK university fees analysed
The US had the second highest average fees at around £5,300 – although famed Ivy League universities such as Harvard and Yale charge significantly more than those in the UK.

Japan came in third at around £3,300, followed by Canada, Korea, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia, fees are around £2,600 while in Italy and Switzerland they are just under £1,000.

The UK government would have seen this analysis and the implications it has on education for the future generation - There I was thinking it was more expensive to study in US.
