  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

Dr. Myles Munroe, Wife And Others Killed In Bahamas Plane Crash

The leaders of Bahamas Faith Ministries, Dr Myles Munroe 60, and his wife Ruth have been killed in a plane crash in Grand Bahamas...
"Please join me in prayer for BFM and the entire Bahamas as we reflect on the life of Dr. Myles Munroe his wife and team who went down in a plane crash today. The Bahamas has lost a giant of a man. Please pray for us," the Rev. Ranford Patterson, president of the Bahamas Christian Council, posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.
Munroe was on his way to his ministry's leadership conference that was scheduled to begin Monday in the Bahamas, the Tribune reported.

The plane left LPIA at 4.07pm with nine people on board and crashed while making an approach for landing at Grand Bahamas International Airport at 5.10pm, the Department of Civil Aviation said.

The police source also said it was believed the group was heading to a conference hosted by Pastor Munroe.
Condolences to the families involved in the Bahamas plane crash.
