  In this remarkable story, Adunni, the main character, depicts ambition fuelled with a burning desire to succeed despite all odds. Tales of this type still abound in Lagos, and they are portrayed in the media daily. Adunni is hailed as the poor girl with a rich mind, "Sherlock Holmes," who never stops asking intelligent questions, a child-bride, and a strong-willed girl who grew up fast due to the circumstance her parents put her through. However, she had the guts to pursue the life she wanted. - An education by any means necessary.  Adunni finally got her groove back after reading such an easy book, I could relate to the characters there. the harsh and despicable reality of Lagos till date. I would recommend this book to my friends and would love to see it turned into a film.

ILLEGAL!!! Eiffel Towers Night Pictures Violation

I find this annoying, taking pictures of the famous effiel towers at night is now a violation of the law. and it is not a joke. 

According to Torrent Freak, the building itself is in the public domain, the light show that illuminates it at night is an artistic work, and as such 'reproducing' it (i.e. snapping a photo) would require the permission of the artist. 


Eiffel Tower confirms that "the usage of these images is subject to prior request from the Société d'Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel." On the other hand, #eiffeltower on Instagram's got well over a million posts, and they all ain't taken in the light of day.

The armed force are known for not joking around when it comes to spotting impostors wearing their outfits, whereas in some quarters, this could also be worn as a fashion statement! A man in Nigeria was caught and confronted by army officers for wearing a camouflage vest. He was later apprehended; but the impostor's response was not forthcoming but highly hilarious.
